Terms of Service

Effective date: August 26, 2026 · Last updated: August 26, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the alorawake.com website and the Alora Wake iOS application (together, “the Service”), developed by Mark Kawecki (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

The Service

Alora Wake is an alarm clock and morning-wellness app. Use of the iOS app is additionally governed by Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. Where these Terms and Apple’s Standard EULA conflict with respect to the app, the Standard EULA controls.

An important note about alarms: we design Alora Wake around the principle that an alarm must wake you, and reliability is our highest engineering priority. Even so, no software can guarantee that a device will ring in every circumstance — battery, hardware, and operating-system conditions are outside our control. Do not rely on any single app, including ours, as the sole safeguard for situations where missing an alarm could cause serious harm.

Purchases and Subscriptions

Optional premium features are offered as auto-renewing subscriptions or a one-time lifetime purchase. All purchases are billed and managed through your Apple ID, and can be managed or cancelled in your device’s App Store subscription settings. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service — including attempting to disrupt it, reverse-engineer it except where the law permits, use it to infringe others’ rights, or access it by automated means that place unreasonable load on it.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, sounds, and content, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for its intended purpose, and no other rights.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Changes

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
