Sleep tracking via HealthKit integration
Backup person SMS notifications
AI-powered wake time recommendations

3. User Responsibilities

When using Alora Wake, you agree to:

Provide accurate information when setting up features like backup notifications
Obtain consent from any person you designate as a backup contact before adding them
Use the app in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Not misuse the backup notification feature for harassment or spam
Keep your device and app updated for optimal performance

4. Backup Notifications

The backup notification feature allows you to designate a trusted contact who receives SMS alerts if you miss your alarm. By using this feature:

You confirm you have obtained consent from the backup person to receive SMS messages
You understand that standard message and data rates may apply to the recipient
You acknowledge that backup contacts can opt out at any time by replying STOP
You agree not to add contacts who have not consented to receive notifications

5. Third-Party Services

Alora Wake integrates with third-party services including Spotify, Apple Music, Apple HealthKit, WeatherKit, and Twilio. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Alora Wake, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Alora Wake is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

The app will always be available or error-free
Alarms will always trigger successfully (due to iOS limitations, device settings, or other factors)
Weather and traffic predictions will be accurate
SMS notifications will always be delivered (due to carrier or network issues)

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

Missed alarms or failure to wake up
Failure of backup notifications to be delivered
Any consequences of relying on weather or traffic predictions
Loss of data or service interruptions

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Alora Wake and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the app or violation of these Terms.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the app or posting notice on our website. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to Alora Wake at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.
